CNPDPCJ participates in GuardianXchange Project study visit

The last study visit of the GuardianXchange project, in which the CNPDPCJ participates as a competent stakeholder in the area of child protection, took place on 30 September and 1 October in Lisbon.

In these two days, representatives from Slovenia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Poland, and Portugal met to appreciate, analyze and discuss the Portuguese context of protection of Unaccompanied Foreign Children and Young People (CJENA) and possible models of creation of the figure of the guardian ("guardian" in English), with the aim of continuing to strengthen the protection of these children and young people in Portugal.

This meeting, organized by IOM Portugal, was attended by several Portuguese entities with responsibility for children and youth and ended with a visit to the Home for Refugee Children (CACR) of the Portuguese Council for Refugees (CPR).
