In cases where it is necessary to find an alternative to your family, Family Reception is a priority measure of placement of a child, until the child's family develops conditions to take care of it again or, if this does not prove feasible, another family context is identified with a permanent character.

During the time that the Family Reception measure is in force, the child starts to live in the home of the host family to whom it will be entrusted, maintaining contacts and a close relationship with his family, unless his best interests advise against it.
