Ana Isabel Valente took office as President of the CNPDPCJ on 8 August, following Rosario Farmhouse’s request for termination of office.

The new President has a degree in law, is 62 years old and has been employed in public functions since January 1990, belonging to the staff of the Tax and Customs Authority, where she worked as a legal and litigation consultant.

She is a mayor in the Municipality of Sintra and in her functions, both as a member of the Municipal Assembly and as a councilwoman, she monitored and evaluated the social policies of that Municipality.

Between 2013 and 2015, he was Chief of Staff of the State Secretary for Employment at the Ministry of Solidarity, Employment and Social Security.
