The Council of Europe published the Second Report on the implementation of its Strategy for the Rights of the Child 2022-2027, prepared by the Steering Committee on the Rights of the Child (CDENF) of this international organisation.

The report covers the period 2024-2025 and reports on how the Member States of the Council of Europe, including Portugal, have implemented the Council of Europe Strategy on the Rights of the Child (2022-2027), as well as the work of the various bodies of the Council of Europe to that effect.

The document also addresses ongoing challenges, puts forward recommendations and also best practices from Member States in the promotion and protection of the rights of the child in the context of the Strategy.
