A Agenda for Action to Respond to Violence Against Children has been prepared by the United Nations Inter-Agency Working Group on Violence against Children, which includes representatives of the following agencies operating within the framework of that international organisation: United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR), Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Violence against Children, Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), International Organisation for Migration (IOM), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), International Labour Organisation (ILO), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and the United Nations Specialised Agency for Information and Communication Technologies.

In line with the call of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, this Working Group recognizes that the pandemic has increased the vulnerability of children who were already at risk, It has amplified all forms of violence against children, and has led to the emergence of a new invisible group of children at risk. for experiencing and observing physical, psychological and sexual violence at home or being neglected there.
