How to report a dangerous situation

To report a situation of danger you should contact the CPCJ of the child's area of residence. Find the contacts of the CPCJhere

The community should intervene in situations of risk or danger to children/young people.

Risk – situation of vulnerability such that, if not overcome, it may determine future danger or damage to the education, safety, health, training or integral development of the child/young person.

Danger –Serious probability of damage in the areas referred to above, or occurrence of such damage, when the situation is determined by action or omission dos parents legal representatives or when the child/young person is exposed to this danger, without that parents or legal representatives oppose.

If you know a child in distress, such as:

• be abandoned or self-delivered;
• suffer physical or psychological ill-treatment or sexual abuse;
• does not receive age-appropriate care or affection;
• engage in behaviour or engage in activities or consumption that seriously affect their health, safety, education or development, without their parents, legal representative or custodians opposing them in an appropriate manner to remove the situation;
• others.
