34th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, 2023
Youth of the CNCJ received by the President of the Republic
As part of the commemorations of the 34th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, received a delegation from the National Council of Children and Youth, accompanied by the CNPDPCJ Presidency and the Planning Team of the National Commission.
Created in 2019, the CNCJ, an initiative of the CNPDPCJ, values and reinforces the importance of participation and citizenship, targeting all children and young people residing in the national territory, aged between 8 and 15 years. In short, it is based on the philosophy and fundamental principle of giving voice to their experiences, concerns, needs and expectations, building bridges with local communities.
