National Campaign of the National Commission for the Promotion of the Rights and Protection of Children and Young People: Protecting Children is Everyone's Responsibility

The national campaign “protecting children is everyone’s responsibility” was developed by the National Commission to reinforce the work that has been carried out by the CPCJ – Child and Youth Protection Commissions – throughout the period of the pandemic and lockdown, and to make the communication of situations of danger more accessible.
This campaign aims to raise awareness among all those on the front line of action, with special emphasis on civil society: friends, neighbours, family members and acquaintances – everyone has a responsibility to report situations they are aware of.
The telephone number 96 123 11 11 has been created and is available, under the responsibility of the CNPDPCJ, ensuring the proper referral of these situations to the territorially competent CPCJ. For more information, please consult the digital brochure and watch the video.

A model form for reporting situations of danger was also developed, adapted to the context, and disseminated by the Ministry of Education to School Clusters and/or non-clustered Schools (adapted to the distance learning period).
