Message from the President

It was with great enthusiasm that I accepted the challenge that was proposed to me to chair the National Commission for the Promotion of the Rights and Protection of Children and Youth.

Feeling that the Commission's work can provide greater well-being for the most vulnerable members of the community is a real reward.

Our children and young people are the best in society.

They are the present, they are the future.

They deserve our full commitment to their rights.

There will be many obstacles and difficulties along the way.

But we cannot turn our faces and I am sure that with the help, self-denial and commitment of all of us, as a whole, anything will be possible.

I can only thank you for the opportunity I have been given to participate in the continuation of this noblewoman. Our mission is to help protect our youngest, those who, unfortunately, do not receive from their closest neighbours the care they need and to which they are entitled.

I am absolutely convinced that ALL we will be able to do so by effectively promoting and protecting the rights of children and young people.
