Day for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse
On 18 November, again marks the Day for the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, the theme of which is highlighted in the 2024 edition:Emerging technologies: threats and opportunities for the protection of children from sexual exploitation and sexual abuse”.
As usual, it is available a Portuguese version of the Council of Europe information leaflet for this edition, and a Portuguese version of the new generic leaflet of the Council of Europe for this Day.

Public presentation of the book "Sexual Abuse - Protecting Children Competes To Tod@s", edited by the National Commission for the Promotion of the Rights and Protection of Children and Youth, launched as part of the Day for the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse, brings together contributions from experts from various areas, as well as testimonies from people who were abused in childhood.
This year the CNPDPCJ marked the Day for the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse by publicly presenting the book “Sexual Abuse - Protecting Children Competes to Tod@s”, edited by the National Commission.
This book brought together contributions from experts from various fields, as well as testimonies from people who were abused in childhood.
